Honestly, I just started crying while typing the title to this blog. This is such a bittersweet experience I cannot control my emotions. While some may say this is too personal for a business blog, all of my clients will tell you that I AM personal. I am 100% me and do not know how to be anyone else. So here I am, putting myself out there for you all to read. My first official blog and definitely not last!
We took another leap of faith and moved! My husband and I are those gross couples that you hear about, we are actually best friends. We make big goals and set ourselves on the best path possible to succeed while always pushing each other forward. I am a pretty lucky girl to have him in my corner! Two years ago, we decided it was best for me to quit my full-time job and focus on my photography business while being a stay at home mom. Now I couldn’t be happier to be officially opening my very own studio!
Seymour was so good to us. Only living there two years, I was just getting familiar with the location. I met the most amazing people living there who truly care about the community they live in. Moving is always a very emotional time in anyone’s life, but this move just got me a little bit more. See, I fell in love with people there. I spent time with so many families, made friendships that will never be forgotten, and shared moments with them that I will forever hold so close to my heart. I will never be able to thank you enough for helping me get where I am today! Never could I have helped to support my family without the trust you instilled in me to photograph yours. Some have already told me that they will follow me wherever I move, but for those who cannot please know that I fully understand and will miss you tremendously!
Moving here has been very time consuming and stressful to say the least! Boxes are still waiting to be unpacked (both studio and home) but we seem to be finally settling in here in New Albany. I have been working on preparing my studio space to share with you all while still keeping busy with my family and business. We are planning on having a grand opening for my studio late August or early September to help welcome my business to the ever growing downtown area!
While a part of my heart will always stay be in the sweet city of Seymour I am more than ready to open it to our new life here in New Albany. Thanks again for being the place we called home <3
